Chromo - Slide export doesn’t need to be that tough!

CHROMO June 8, 2026 Feature Improvement Fix

You know that moment — you generate a deck, it looks clean in Chromo, you export it to send to your boss, and one image is just… gone ~ 🫠 We've been there. Our team had a Slack thread literally called "why does export hate us." And this release is us finally killing that thread:

✨ One-shot decks that survive the export

One-shot generation now follows a tighter build protocol — an "elite slide" blueprint instead of vibes — and assets actually make it out the door with the file. Preview = export.

✨ The AI assistant got a longer memory (and a stop button)

You're 40 messages deep into refining a deck. You ask one more tweak and the assistant forgets the brand colors you set up top.

So we fixed it: long chats auto-condense, context stays, the assistant can see generated images. And if it goes off-track, hit Stop.

✨ One place for every image edit

Before, you'd regenerate the whole thing and lose the good parts.

Now: annotate the region on the canvas, merge, done.

And we have 4 improvements and fixes coming to you 😉

Improvements (3)
  • Pick up where you left off: Each product page shows your recent projects again, filtered to that product's type.
  • No premature regenerate in guided setup: Once an editor exists, Generate stays gated until you actually change the outline.
  • One less choice in the outline step: Removed the redundant template-choice option. You're welcome.
Fixes (1)
  • Old versions export properly now: Exporting a previous version from slide history no longer chokes with "Canvas is not ready."
